Pressure gauge commonly used terms

1, positive pressure and negative pressure
2, relative pressure and absolute pressure
3, vacuum degree
4. How to express pressure
There are two ways to express pressure: one is based on absolute vacuum as the reference pressure, referred to as absolute pressure; the other is based on atmospheric pressure as the reference pressure expressed as relative pressure. Since most pressure gauges measure the relative pressure, the relative pressure is also called gauge pressure. When the absolute pressure is less than the atmospheric pressure, the absolute pressure in the container may be expressed as a value less than one atmosphere. It is called "vacuum". Their relationship is as follows:
Absolute pressure = atmospheric pressure + relative pressure
Vacuum degree = atmospheric pressure - absolute pressure
The statutory pressure unit in China is Pa(N/m2), which is called Pascal, or Pa. Because this unit is too small, it often uses its 10^6 times unit MPa (megapascals).
